Abiotic Factor Cryosphere Update: How to Find North Pole New Portal

The new Cryosphere Update brings new content and explorable areas to Abiotic Factor. As far as co-op survival sandbox open-world games go, the game is quite immersive and fun to play. One of the new additions in the Cryosphere update is the North Pole area.

This guide walks through how to find the new portal to the North Pole, access it, and explore the new area available in the Abiotic Factor Cryosphere update.

How to find North Pole New Portal

Find the Laboratory

Go down into the tunnels with the Wildfire Pens symbol as shown above. Move further into the tunnel, down a flight of stairs with the Office logo on the walls.

Turn left once you reach the area above. You will see a Cascade Laboratories pop-up on the screen.

Enter Containment Block

Sprint straight and turn right. You will reach a new corridor that continues forward with an opening branching left. You will also see a C-Block sign on the wall indicating the direction of the portal.

Go through the opening and cross the steel platform until you reach the other area shown above. You will find a DIRAC sign above the entryway.

Next, go through the entryway and turn right. You will have to use your flashlight at this point to see. Count the doors on your right and open the fourth door as shown below:

Access the North Pole Portal

Enter the room, and you will find a button you can interact with on a metal grille. Interact with it, and you will receive an option to enter the portal. Accept the prompt, and you will automatically teleport to the North Pole.

You can now explore the area to discover new crafting materials and content in the Cryosphere update.
