Building a Crypt is one of the first important base upgrades in Vampires: Bloodlord Rising. The process is simple, but you must plan the structure, gather the right materials, and complete each construction step in order.
This guide explains how to plan, build, and finish your Crypt without confusion.
How to Build Your Crypt?
Plan the Crypt Structure
Start by opening the building menu.
- Press the middle mouse button or open the menu using Tab.
- Select the Crypt from the build options.
Rotate the structure by holding Ctrl and using the middle mouse button. Face the entrance in the direction you want.
Place the Crypt blueprint away from your main castle area. Right-click to confirm the placement.
If you make a mistake, press Q and right-click to remove the blueprint.
Gather Required Materials
You must gather crafting materials before you can build the Crypt.
The Crypt requires:
- Limestone
- Mortar
- Chiseled Limestone
To craft these items, you need a Crafting Station.
Build the Crafting Station
Open the Construction tab in the building menu. Place a Crafting Station using basic materials like wood and limestone.
Interact with the station and press E to start crafting.
Queue up:
- Mortar
- Wooden Planks
- Chiseled Limestone
Let the station finish producing everything you need.
Construct the Crypt
Once you have all required materials, return to the Crypt blueprint. Left-click on the structure to begin construction.
Walk around the blueprint and complete each section.
Do not forget the base and wall sections.
You also need roof tiles, which you can collect from fallen debris around the castle area.
Place the pillar ornaments in the corners to fully complete the Crypt.
Furnish the Crypt
After building the Crypt, new furniture options unlock.
Open the Buildings tab.
Place:
- A Coffin inside the Crypt
- A Chest for storage
Rotate items as needed to fit the room layout.
Once placed, your Crypt is fully functional.
