Cleansing the Tree Tunnel is one of the early challenges in Cloudheim, and the game gives very little direction on where to begin. The Tree Tunnel sits far below Arcadia, and reaching it requires placing a waypoint on the map and traveling deep into the Bifrost region. Once inside the area, players must locate the corrupted Tree Spirit and complete a small cleansing puzzle to unlock the reward chest.
This guide walks through how to find the Tree Tunnel, defeat the shielded enemies inside it, activate the cleansing pillars, and finally claim the medallion hidden within the locked chest.
How To Cleanse the Tree Tunnel in Cloudheim

Find the Tree Tunnel

The Tree Tunnel is located in the lower part of Arcadia’s map.
Placing a waypoint makes it easier to navigate once entering Bofrost. Following the yellow marker leads to a small area marked by bunting and old skeleton remains, showing that the corrupted zone is nearby.

Locate the Corrupted Area

The cleansing area is the section with colorful bunting and small houses. A Tree Spirit appears here with two shield bars.
You must break the grey shield first, and kick smaller enemies into it or attacking repeatedly helps lower its defenses quickly.

Defeat the Tree Spirit
The Tree Spirit is a tough enemy and only becomes vulnerable after you remove both shields. Breaking the shields is the main goal, and defeating the spirit completes the combat part of the cleanse.

Light the Three Staffs

After you defeat the tree spirit, you must activate the three pillars around the area. Each one lights up when used, and all three must be activated to release the chains from the locked chest.
The staffs are placed around the clearing on the left, right, and center paths.

Open the Chest

Once you light all staffs, the chest will unlock, and a medallion will appear. Collecting the medallion completes the Tree Tunnel cleanse, saves progress automatically, and allows the next mission to begin.
